Internal fire doors

At Door Warehouse we believe that fire safety is of utmost importance, however as our range of modern fire doors prove, safety & protection doesn't mean you have to sacrifice style. We offer a vast selection of fire doors in various styles and finishes, plus fire-rated ironmongery, so you're sure to find a door to meet your needs and tastes.

Fire doors are available within most of our internal door ranges including oak, pre-finished oak, white, walnut, grey, and black, both solid and glazed, so you can carry your chosen door style throughout your home. We can also provide fire doors in custom sizes, made to measure.

We offer a complete internal door supply and fit service and can provide you with a quote: we just need to know the quantity and sizes of the doors you need. If you need any advice on styles, measurement, or have a query, get in touch or pop in and see us at our showroom in Deeside.

Fire door ratings and legal requirements

We supply fire doors in two different ratings: FD30 (30-minute) which are 44mm in thickness, and FD60 (60-minute) which are 54mm in thickness. If you need any help in knowing which rating you need, or which styles are available in either rating, we'd be more than happy to help.

In private homes, fire doors are recommended where the risk is higher e.g., integral garages, kitchens, and rooms that house multiple electrical appliances. In properties with three or more storeys, including loft conversions, any rooms that are connected to the escape route, usually the stairwell, require a fire-rated door and frame. Fire-rated doors are a legal requirement in HMOs (Houses of Multiple Occupation).
