Modern internal oak doors have a solid engineered core, oak veneer to all faces and real oak lippings, providing a door that looks like solid oak, but performs better, requires little-no maintenance, and is considerably cheaper. They're also incredibly durable (resistant to warping and twisting) and offer a high level of soundproofing and thermal insulation.

Oak adds warmth, character and class to a home, and with many door designs having solid, glazed, French, bifold and fire-rated options, you can take your chosen style throughout your home.

Pre-finished oak doors have multiple layers of a hard-wearing clear lacquer professionally pre-applied, which means they can be installed on the day of delivery. This finish protects your doors from scuffs and wear, keeping them looking great for many years, and is guaranteed for 10 years (25 years on some ranges).

We install internal doors in Chester, the Wirral, Liverpool, North Wales and West Cheshire. The average lead time is 4-6 weeks.

How to order your new internal doors

If you're considering new internal doors, you're welcome to pop into our showroom or liaise with us via phone and email. Our entire process is simple:

• Visit our showroom or choose your new doors and ironmongery from the brochures provided
• Send us measurements and the quantity needed. We'll send over a quote within 24 hours
• If you're unsure on measurements or have an odd-sized door opening, we'll do a site visit to measure up and advise
• If you're happy to proceed, we'll order your doors
• When your doors are delivered to us, we'll quality check them and contact you to book your installation
• Our fitters will arrive to install your new doors. We'll even take your old doors away for free

The timeframe to have your doors delivered and fitted is approximately 4-6 weeks from the date you place your order. 

In addition to the 10-year manufacturer and finish guarantee, Door Warehouse offer a 10-year workmanship guarantee.
